I had found some really good kauai vacation packages and asked my husband if we could go. He agreed at once! We selected the best Kaua’i vacation package that included rooms in Kaua’i hotel and we were ready to go!
Looking out of the airplane window, I wondered if we could move here permanently. Our airplane had just landed in Kaua’i. There was something in the air that made me want to get off the plane without wasting another second and never going back home.
My children were so excited for the trip and they were asking their father if they could come every month. Hearing my children say this made me feel I wasn’t the only one who was falling in love with this place without even getting out of the plan. Like I said, something beautiful felt in the air.
‘Keiki’ is a word in Hawaiian that is used for kids and young buds of orchids. Kaua’i Garden Isles is a place for both. There’s an abundance of young buds of orchids and children love this place. No wonder why my kids wanted to come every month.
All is green!
If you tell your children you’re taking them to a botanical garden, they’d runaway and hide. That’s not the case with Kaua’i. Children loved it there. Kaua’i Mini Golf had such green and beautiful gardens, you’d feel like heaven there. There were waterfalls with signboards about different Hawaiian plants. Children learned a lot about them while they fished their ball through the waters. In Na ʻAina Kai Botanical Gardens, kids loved feeding the koi and explored the jungle playground during family tours.
Limahuli Garden, without doubt is Hawaii’s most wonderful botanical garden that we loved to explore. It becomes an adventurous journey through the jungle when you explore it.
The coast has many magical geological feature that are just wondrous to behold.
Kaua’i Beach Resorts
Every time is beach time in Kaua’i but the waves can get high which can be unsafe for kids. But don’t worry there are many cool protected areas for kids to get all wet. Kaua’i beach resorts are just great. Even the toddlers have their cute little mini beaches where they can get their little feet wet. Lydgate Beach Park near the Wailua River is an excellent place to go beaching with your little kids.see page from http://www.wikihow.com/Vacation-in-Kauai-for-a-Week for more tips.
